A few words from the President

  • Looking forward to 2026 and an exciting year of gardening

As we enter our 28th year, the Southern Butler County Garden Club continues to impact our community with our work in the Graham Park Community Garden and the Mars Public Library Garden.

The Graham Park Community Garden flourishes with native plants, birds and insects providing a dedicated space for our Horticultural Therapy Program. This garden not only provides a space for our CAREs young adults to interact with nature, it's also a relaxing environment for the community at large. We are always thinking of new projects to enhance the garden...stay turned to see what's next!

Save the date...our Garden Tour is June 27th and tickets are now available for presale. This is our only fundraiser and we appreciate your support! Funds raised help us to give back to the community buy supporting programs and funding new ideas for our community gardens. The tour is a wonderful source of inspiration and we hope you take away ideas for your own garden.

We invite you to join us for educational programs, community service projects and field trips as well as new experiences and friendship. Our first meeting of the year is Tuesday March 24th at 7pm at the Seven Fields Community Center. Hope to see you there!

    Kristi Gregory

President, Southern Butler County Garden Club
