A few words from the President

  • Anticipating Colorful Fall Foliage

As an exceptionally busy and wet season comes to an end, the members of the Southern Butler County Garden Club are looking forward to enjoying the autumn weather and beautiful foliage.

I encourage you to take a walk through the two community gardens our members maintain. In Cranberry Township, the Community Garden in Graham Park has a new pergola we installed earlier this year with the picnic table now under a canopy of shade. Be sure to check out the little gnome garden which continues to expand thanks to our Horticultural Therapy program. If you're in downtown Mars, please stop by the Mars Public Library Pollinator Garden, there's always something blooming!

Be sure to SAVE THE DATE: Saturday June 26, 2027 for our 19th Annual Garden Tour! So many of you have attended since the beginning and we're so thankful for your support. This event is our Club's only fundraiser and without YOU it wouldn't be a success. The tour will feature several local gardens in and around the Cranberry Twp. area. More details to come in the spring, so be sure to check back and follow us on Facebook for updates.
