A few words from the President

  • The Year Ahead

The year ahead will be filled with Friendship & Flowers. In addition to our monthly speakers, our members will be enjoying presentations at the Succop Nature Park and Jennings Prairie. We'll also learn how to maintain our flexibility with a yoga presentation just for gardeners... as we all need to maintain our flexibility in & out of the garden!

Our first meeting of the year will take place on March 25th at 7pm held at the Seven Fields Community Center. We will begin with a program on shade gardening, have time for refreshments and catching up, then close with a business meeting.

Be sure to SAVE THE DATE for our 17th Annual Garden Tour on June 28th! Tickets are on sale now and make great gifts. One of our service projects, the Graham Park Community Garden will be on the tour featuring a special art installation by the Cranberry Yarn Creations group. Larger than life 3-dimensional knitted and crocheted creatures will be on display throughout the garden.

    Happy Gardening!

    Jill Barger

President, Southern Butler County Garden Club
