Looking back and giving back

The start of a new year always gives us an opportunity to look back and reflect. Our Clubs annual fundraiser... a Summer Garden Tour, was very successful in 2019 enabling us to give back to several projects in our community. The funds raised helped us, in collaboration with the Cranberry Township Community Chest, to install a Blue Star By-Way Marker in our Community Garden in Graham Park. This memorial marker is a National Garden Club, Inc. sponsored project to honor U.S. service members. Another new project we recently sponsored with profits from our fundraising is the Apiary on the grounds of the Cranberry Highlands Golf Course. This project is buzzing with excitement to help save the bees in our community!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and now can find time to take a rest, just like our gardens this time of year. Our Club takes a bit of a rest from organized meetings for the months of January & February.

Be sure to SAVE THE DATE: Saturday July 25th 2020 for our 12th Annual Garden Tour!
