Alexis is with Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy located in Butler County. Her passion is teaching people about the world around them and how learning about nature can help protect and preserve it. Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy is the home of Wildbird Recovery, which has provided over two decades of licensed wild bird rehabilitation services. The facility is home to many winged ambassadors including a Barrel Owl and Eastern Screech Owls. We will learn about the incredible adaptations of owls and the various native species in Pennsylvania. We'll even have a live owl visitor! This program will be a lecture and demonstration with a live animal.
Please note: This meeting will take place on the second Tuesday of the month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Meeting location is the Seven Fields Community Center at 10am
