Presented by Stephanie Szakal
Forget the honeybee and its much publicized decline for a moment. Pennsylvania is home to over 400 species of wild bees who aid in pollination and have diverse and remarkable lives. This program will unveil where and how they live. We'll learn what differentiates them from flies and wasps. You'll hopefully come to appreciate these lesser known bees who visit your garden and learn how to help prevent their decline. Our speaker Stephanie Szakal is a Penn State Master Gardener in Allegheny County and Penn State University Bee Monitor.
