Riparian buffers are natural areas around waterways that protect them from pollution and provide wildlife habitat. Our local expert, Susan Boser is a Water Resources Educator with the Penn State Extension Office in Beaver County. She is a graduate of West Virginia University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Environmental Protection. Susan interacts with clientele across Western PA via educational programs focusing on the areas of private water supply, pond and storm water management and pesticide education. Learn about buffer benefits and how they can enhance your landscape. This program will be a lecture and powerpoint presentation.
