Program: Karen Rupert is the PA Lyme Resource Network Regional Leader for Butler County as well as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Karen experienced Lyme disease in 2015 and has since focused on prevention and awareness of the disease. She also facilitates monthly Lyme disease support groups. Tick borne infections are preventable, awareness is the first step. This presentation will cover tick borne diseases, prevention, what to do, and recognizing early symptoms as well as what to do if you get sick.
