When is a bulb not a bulb? This presentation will explain the difference between true bulbs and the non-bulbs that we think are bulbs. Included in the discussion will be the differences between spring and summer flowering bulbs and how to plant, fertilize, divide and store bulbs. Karen Beachem has been a Penn State Master Gardener (Butler County) since 2013. She specializes in Dahlias and plants over 300 rhizomes every year.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will take place at the Seven Fields Community Center starting at 10am and will be an in person lecture and slide presentation. This program is also the second week of the month due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
