Edible Landscaping

Seed companies and nurseries are providing homeowners with many more options of attractive edible plants. Fruits and vegetables can easily be incorporated into a shrub border providing beauty and a source of quality food. They can also be grown in containers or window boxes. Want to learn more? Susan Marquesen, a Penn State Master Gardener and Penn State Master Food Preserver will share her tips. Not only has she grown and preserved harvests in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Susan has done the same in Iowa and California. Her home garden includes vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, small fruit and fruit trees.
