One of nature's most fascinating journey's...bird migration occurs across the earth every spring and fall. This presentation will discuss the "how's and why's" of bird migration with a emphasis on migratory birds found in Western Pennsylvania. Chris Kubiak is the Director of Education at the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania. He is a native Pittsburgher and life long outdoor enthusiast. Chris combines a love of birds and nature with his nonprofit and research experience at Audubon. This program will be a lecture and powerpoint presentation.
This meeting will take place at the Succop Nature Center, 185 Airport Road, Butler PA 16002 at 10am. Please meet in the Education Center under the barn and be sure to dress warm.
